Laughlin changes security posture

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Due to changing world conditions, Laughlin has heightened its security posture.

Those who regularly access the base can expect delays when entering the gate and should have their Department of Defense identification card with them at all times.

"We very much appreciate the patience of everyone at Laughlin during this time," said Col. Angela Cadwell, 47th Mission Support Group commander. "This is a measure to ensure the safety and security of every Laughlin member."
