Texas -- Laughlin Air Force Base is hosting the world-famous Harlem Ambassadors basketball team Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Losano Fitness Center. The Ambassadors are a group of basketball players who travel throughout the world, providing wholesome fun-filled, entertainment for the entire family. The event will kick off with a local Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps presenting the colors and a friendly game of basketball with leadership, followed by a no-joke game with Laughlin's own basketball team including crooked referees and tons of crowd participation, not to mention a comedic half-time show. "The show includes dazzling ball handling, high-flying slam dunks, and hilarious family comedy," said Mr. Dennis Carroll, 47th Services director. Tickets are $5 for seats on the gym floor, and $2.50 for standing room on the track. Kids four and under are free.
