In Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH), providers assist individuals in their coping with similar stressors. PCBH could be the resource an Airman needs to help alleviate stress and develop positive, sustainable coping skills in and out of quarantine.

Cancer survivor says knowledge is power
The solid gym doors swung open, spilling the warm, Texas evening light across the Losano Fitness Center carpet. A woman with a lively step marched across the gym lobby down the hallway greeting the people she saw by name. She turned right into a room with mirrors, colorful mood lamps and a light, hardwood floor. A handful of women greeted her as they stretched and warmed up for the class.

Mental health: stronger minds, stronger mission
The mental health flight might be a unit hidden in the far corner of Laughlin’s medical group, however, this small flight of Airmen work tirelessly to ensure pilots remain in flight status, the first responders remain able to safeguard the base, and even work with active duty members’ families and civilian employees to rest-assured the mission goes on. Mental Health is one of the four pillars of comprehensive airman fitness, along with physical, social and spiritual fitness, and a critical component to a person’s well-being.
