    It’s clear that mankind is currently facing a pandemic. According to the World Health Organization, COVID-19 has infected more than 1 million people globally. Nearly every single country on earth is affected. Well, what can you do? What can the person next to you do? If you aren’t a doctor treating afflicted people, or a scientist searching for a vaccine, what can you actually do?

    COVID-19: What to expect at Laughlin

    A lot has happened over the last couple weeks regarding the novel coronavirus, as many are probably already aware. In response to the outbreak in other parts of the country, Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, has made modifications to protect the health and wellness of its Airmen, their families, the local community, and everyone who visit the base.

    Is it the flu or is it coronavirus?

    It is easy to feel vulnerable because of news about the coronavirus outbreak. The name of this disease is coronavirus disease 2019, abbreviated as COVID-19. The symptoms of influenza (flu) and coronavirus infection are similar, but these two illnesses are caused by different viruses. People with the flu may jump to the conclusion that they have been exposed to COVID-19. However, it is important to keep things in perspective and avoid needless worry.
