All Laughlin members are invited to attend Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 17-02's graduation ceremony Oct. 18, at 10 a.m. in Anderson Hall, here. Air Force retired Lt. Col. Taylor Emmanuel will be the guest speaker, and awards will be given to stand-out members of the class. Laughlin graduates more than 300 pilots annually.

Capt. Jerry Yellin, a former U.S. Army Air Corps fighter pilot, enlisted two months after the bombing of Hickam Air Field and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on his 18th birthday.
