Unit and job title: 47th Security Forces Squadron NCO in charge of standardizations and evaluations.

Why she XLed: Sweeney was one of only three NCOs in the wing to complete Course 15, a distance-learning format for the NCO Academy, with no failures, and achieved a 91 percent - Laughlin Air Force Base’s highest score to date. She was the lead security forces wing inspection team member who drafted the objectives for an active shooter exercise, evaluated the lock-down process and ensured the wing’s readiness for an insider threat. She also attended the command chief’s ‘Lunch-n-Learn’ and developed a presentation that she used to mentor 22 security forces Airmen on the enlisted evaluation system.
