Female aviators at Laughlin bond through mentorship group

Capt. Monica Kestermann, 86th Flying Training Squadron instructor pilot leads 2nd Lieutenants Sam Bateman and Josiah Apgar in a pre-flight brief, Aug. 11, 2020 at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. Kestermann says the women she flies with share endless experiences and are invaluable resources about anything from flying to career advice to balancing family and work.
