LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 47th Security Forces Squadron NCO in charge of investigations

Why he XLed: He led six wing investigations by conducting interviews and coordinating documentation, assisting in achieving a 100 percent solve rate. He also aided the Val Verde County Sheriff's office with an active warrant, apprehending the subject and organizing their transfer. During another case, he coordinated with the Office of Special Investigations and the Del Rio police by collecting evidence.

Hometown: Walla Walla, Wash.

Family: Wife, Tiffany; son, Jaxon

Time in military/civil service: Five years and 11 months

Greatest accomplishment: Graduating Military Police Investigations School

Hobbies: Golfing and fishing

Bad habit: Occasionally open the club face on my golf club when hitting the ball.
