The 47th Operations Support Squadron here at Laughlin helps the base's mission through a variety of different organizations. One such organization is the aircrew flight equipment shop.

The shop is responsible for every Laughlin pilot's flight equipment such as oxygen masks, helmets and survival kits. They perform maintenance and service inspections of all the equipment to ensure it stays in top working order. They also brief pilots on how to take care of their equipment and how each piece of equipment works.

Aircrew flight equipment personnel's number one priority is to ensure the safety of the Air Force's number one asset: airmen. These photos were taken while these members cleaned and maintained pilot safety equipment June 19. To view the slideshow, click here.
