Why he XLed: He was handpicked to be the point of contact for the 47th Flying Training Wing commander's farewell and coordinated with four base organizations for the event, boosting morale for Laughlin and more than 200 guests. He led more than 20 volunteers for the local Mud Crawl that hosted more than 150 participants. He was selected to fly with student pilots during their progress evaluations and instructed eight sorties while managing the operational risk management for more than 40 crew members during a six hour tour. He skillfully managed 98 events for student and instructor pilots, boosting the classes' timeline by two days despite unfavorable weather.
