LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- For the first time in the history of Del Rio, Texas, a Battle on the Border was hosted by the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce and 85th Flying Training Squadron's Booster Club.

The event involved a mud crawl, a two-mile obstacle course, in which participants challenged themselves through a mud slide, tire run, mud mountain, mud pit and various other obstacles.

These photos were taken when the Del Rio community and the Team XL came together to put their will to the test against the mud crawl April 20.
