Change of command ceremony Thursday

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Laughlin's change of command ceremony is at the T-6 Weather Hangar April 25 at 9 a.m.

At the ceremony, Col. Tom Murphy, 47th Flying Training Wing commander, will pass the mantle of leadership onto Col. Brian Hastings.

Presiding over the event will be Gen. Edward Rice, Air Education and Training Command commander, and representatives of the Del Rio community will be in attendance.

Those wishing to attend should be seated 20 minutes prior to the event's start. Military personnel should be dressed in the uniform of the day and civilians in business attire.

"All are encouraged to attend the ceremony to welcome our new commander to Team XL," said Maj. Michelle Schnakenberg, event coordinator.
