Why he XLed: He was the point of contact for the Devil Dash 5K, which involved 235 local and military participants, and raised $12,000 for the Wounded Warriors Project. He accrued 11.8 flight hours and participated in eight student pilot events. He propelled his class 13 days ahead of schedule and had 10 student pilots track select early. He instructed five formation sorties and helped as the evaluator pilot for below average student pilots. He also responded to an in-flight emergency as a flight safety officer and controlled 50 aircrafts movements. He streamlined new aircraft pattern procedures by controlling training programs.
