The world's longest running bull-riding event is rolling out the red carpet to Laughlin members April 27.

The top 40 professional riders across the U.S., including five past world champions, will be on hand to compete during the George Paul Memorial Bull Riding at the Val Verde county fairgrounds in Del Rio.

Saturday night is officially dedicated to Laughlin personnel, according to John Ludlum, event marketing director.

Team XL members interested in attending Saturday night have a special reserved grandstand section set aside for the event as well as discounted tickets. Tickets are marked down from $35 to $25, and groups who buy nine tickets receive a 10th free. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the GPMBR office at 775-9595.

"We at the George Paul realize how important Laughlin is to our nation and to the city of Del Rio," said Ludlum. "The best pilots in the world are trained here at Laughlin, and it is our pleasure to give the base nationwide television coverage and is our way to give back and help support your mission while having a good time."
