Liquid propane gas leak Published Feb. 23, 2013 47th Flying Training Wing Public Affairs LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- A contractor working on a 10,000 gallon tank ruptured a line, and approximately 4,500 gallons of liquid propane gas was spilled. As a precaution, we have evacuated our base camping area and a half-mile radius around the area. Everyone on base has been instructed to stay in place.
