Laughlin's Combat Dining-Out will be held Nov. 3 at the base paintball field and is open to all of Team XL.

The theme for this year's event is 'Warriors through Time,' so dress accordingly, and if you choose to wear an official military uniform, you must adhere to appropriate Air Force Instruction 36-2903 standards, the Air Force Dress and Appearance manual, explained Master Sgt. Manuel Silva, event organizer.

The purpose of a combat dining-out is to bring together members of a unit in an atmosphere of camaraderie, good fellowship and social rapport. At the event, there will be a barbecue buffet of smoked sausage, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, Texas-style beans, potato salad, coleslaw and fresh rolls, said Silva.

There will also be several activities. You will want to bring your own water bottle, but more than eight thousand water balloons will be provided.

The prices for enlisted personnel are $5 for airmen through senior airmen, $10 for staff sergeants and technical sergeants and $15 for master sergeants through chief master sergeants.

For officers, tickets are $15 for Lieutenants and Captains and $20 for Majors through Generals.

For general schedule employees, tickets are $10 for GS-01s through GS-09 and $15 for GS-10 through GS-15.

Anyone interested in attending can purchase tickets through Master Sgt. Donna Jacobson at 298-5236 or Airman 1st Class David Warner at 298-6538 by Oct. 31.
