AETC special duty assignment team set to visit Laughlin

The Air Education and Training Command Special Duty Briefing Team are scheduled to visit Laughlin Oct. 17 and brief enlisted member on special duty assignments available to them from 9 a.m. to noon in the student activity center.

The team will brief on all aspects of special duty opportunities such as becoming a recruiter, military training instructor, military training leader or becoming a professional military education instructor.

Senior airmen with at least 35 months' time in service through master sergeants with less than 16 years total active federal military service may be eligible to apply and are encouraged to attend the briefing.

While there are many varied needs and requirements for special duty assignments, the event is open to everyone on base.

Those strongly interested are also highly encouraged to bring their spouse.
