Why he XLed: He coordinated during a T-6 emergency and his efforts ensured the timely recovery of the crew and aircraft. He also led his squadron's Consolidated Unit Inspection preparation, involving more than 2,200 self-inspection items and more than 70 deliverables for Advanced Echelon. These efforts were praised by group inspectors. Additionally, he assisted with visits from Senator John Cornyn and the military liaison of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, preparing the 47th OSS to showcase the tower. Finally, he revamped Laughlin's anti-hijacking plan helping to prepare the wing for an immediate response.
