Laughlin mourns loss of Team XL member Published June 11, 2012 By 47th Flying Training Wing Public Affairs LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- A civilian employee with the 47th Maintenance Directorate was killed in a motorcycle accident near Loop 79 in Del Rio, Texas, June 11 at about 6:45 a.m. The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin are notified. "My deepest condolences go out to the family, friends and coworkers of this Team XL member," said Col. Tom Murphy, 47th Flying Training Wing commander. "Every member of our team plays an important role in accomplishing the wing's mission, and I am dedicated to supporting his loved ones during this difficult time. His family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time." The accident is under investigation by the Del Rio Police Department.
