Why he XLed: He has saved Laughlin more than $55,000 since Jan. 1. He forced a bank to apply the Service Member Civil Relief Act for a lieutenant in need. Put Laughlin on the Judge Advocate General Corp legal assistance honor roll for feedback and efficiency and lead prosecution of a heavy drug user.

Greatest accomplishment: Finishing law school and ROTC while a stay-at-home dad
