Laughlin increases security posture

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  In keeping with Department of Defense guidance, Laughlin has increased its security posture.

When arriving at Laughlin's gates, people should ensure they have appropriate identification ready and should expect longer than normal delays.

The 47th Security Forces Squadron would like to remind base residents that they will need to meet all guests, including any type of delivery or utility service, at the front gate in order for them to gain access to the base. Telephone sponsorship will not be allowed while the security posture is increased.

In addition, Laughlin members should report any type of suspicious package or people to security forces at 830-298-5100.
