Laughlin congratulates new staff sergeants Published Aug. 4, 2011 By 47th Flying Training Wing Public Affairs LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Seventeen Laughlin senior airmen recently learned they will soon see an increase in their responsibilities and paychecks as a result of the Air Force staff sergeant promotion list released Aug. 4. The Air Force as a whole saw 11,337 of 26,549 eligible senior airmen were for promotion to staff sergeant for a selection rate of 42.7 percent.
