Owolabi 47th Flying Training Wing LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Several Laughlin senior airmen recently learned that they will soon see an increase in their responsibility and paychecks as a result of the Air Force staff sergeant promotion list release Aug. 19. Twenty eight Laughlin Airmen were electronically notified of their promotion selection, and in no time they will be called non-commissioned officers. In the Air Force as a whole, 12,209 of 28,098 eligible senior airmen were selected for promotion to staff sergeant for a selection rate of 43.45 percent.
