Laughlin observes National Alcohol Awareness Month

  • Published
April is National Alcohol Awareness month, and a few Laughlin units are helping spread the word.

The 47th Medical Group Mental Health Clinic, in conjunction with the Laughlin Health and Wellness Center, has launched a campaign to educate members of Team XL on the risks associated with alcohol use.

Beginning April 4, key members of Laughlin's leadership will assist the organizations in handing out information cards as people leave base for the weekend. The cards will include answers to frequently asked questions about alcohol.

The campaign will continue throughout the month with informational graphics in the base clubs, distribution of non-alcoholic drink recipes and an alcohol-free happy hour at Su Casa April 17.
