Why he XLed: Lewis supported four providers and managed 1,800 visits valued at $365,000 with a 90-percent individual medical readiness rate (best in the AETC). He maintained $40,000 of response equipment and supplies, safeguarding 19,000 flying hours for 12,000 sorties with zero in flight emergency delays. As an Honor Guard member he briefed 20 First Term Airmen Course students on the Honor Guard mission and led the wing change of command detail. As a member of the wing 5/6 Sergeant-At-Arms, he helped organized meetings, the Tech. Sgt. release celebration and a highway cleanup. Lastly, Lewis dedicated 10 hours to Base Airmen Against Drunk Driving helping combat against alcohol related incidents by picking up five individuals.
