Why he XLed: Cruzbarbosa spent 90 hours creating a wing anti-terrorism representative book and evaluated and consolidated six Department of Defense Instructions and Air Force Instructions that enhanced force protection and set standard guidance for 23 units. He pioneered six anti-terrorism programs that supported anti-terrorism program inspections, and two commanders calls that boosted community anti-terrorism awareness. He revamped the 47th FTW Random Anti-Terrorism Measure program by increasing completion by 88-percent, and mitigated threats for 5,200 people. He discovered and fixed 32 perimeter vulnerabilities and bolstered Integrated Defense. Cruzbarbosa also coordinated a $135,000 long-range thermal imager procurement.
