LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 87th Flying Training Squadron, T-38 Talon instructor pilot

Why he XLed: Mueller was handpicked as the 47th Operations Group's commander's point of contact for the first OG Family Friday. He executed a top-tier event and boosted morale of 1,200 OG members. He also kept the mission going by flying three sorties, two student pilot check-rides and accomplished two Runway Supervisory Unit tours during the week of event execution.
