The Air Force honors and celebrates the contributions civilian Airmen make to our nation’s defense in conjunction with Public Service Recognition Week during the first week of May.

Public Service Recognition Week is organized annually to honor the men and women who serve our nation as federal, state, county and local government employees.

Civilian Airmen around the world serving as government employees contribute to the mission through various roles to include medical, security, support, contracting and engineering.

With civilian Airmen supporting the mission world-wide, Laughlin Air Force base celebrates its civilian Airmen by highlighting them and what they do.
