Why she XLed: Dooms directed the top-ranked individual medical readiness program in the Air Education and Training Command with a 91.7 percent ready rate. As the occupational and environmental health subject matter expert, Dooms enforced Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards for 116 personnel in 42 shops. She piloted the 47th Medical Group’s first base operational medicine clinic, which led to 27 physical health assessments and a compliance rate of 100 percent. She performed 26 entry into pilot training hearing tests that led to the completion of more than 3,000 flying hours.
