Why she XLed: Murrell held a critical role in coordinating, setting up and hosting do-it-yourself games for the child development center carnival event in which 54 parents participated in. She also fostered a nurturing environment for a special-needs infant, easing the family’s concerns. Murrell led hands-on parent and child education activities for 30 children, increasing critical bonding time and family cohesion. Murrell constantly energizes the classroom, providing motivation for her fellow staff team members, and promotes an active learning atmosphere for 20 infants. Lastly, Murrell is a child advocate; she sought and attended four off-site training opportunities, gaining valuable knowledge for teaching success.
