Senior Airman Samantha Parkhurst, 47th Medical Operations Squadron bioenvironmental engineering technician, was recently accepted into the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School in Colorado Springs, Colo., through the LEAD program. The Leaders Encouraging Airman Development program was started to give unit commanders the opportunity to recognize and nominate their highly qualified and deserving enlisted Airmen to attend the USAF Academy or the academy preparatory school.
