Permanent party military members at Laughlin AFB are authorized to travel to approved areas in Ciudad Acuña via the Del Rio Port of Entry. This policy applies only to permanent party members, and students are not allowed to cross into Ciudad Acuña. 

When traveling, members must always be accompanied by another adult who is at least 18 years old and must return to the U.S. by midnight unless on approved leave. It is mandatory to keep a personal cell phone with you at all times. 

Members are restricted to approved travel areas posted in the policy and urged to avoid high-risk places like bars and nightclubs. Members under 21 cannot use, purchase, or possess alcohol or tobacco products in Ciudad Acuña.
