Several people are very interested in when will the hunting club be back up and running at Laughlin?
This question is very important to me as a quality of life improvement at Laughlin AFB. We all look forward to leveraging our XL team to control the deer population while also providing a new recreational opportunity on base.
Currently MSG has been working hard trying to develop a program that meets all legal requirements that is safe, and enjoyable. We are working on an initial plan to distinctly reestablish the base hunting program for calendar year 2016. Presently they are assessing a long list of issues that closed hunting on base a few years ago, which entails lots of coordination with Safety, Legal, Civil Engineering plus Federal and State agencies.
