Since opening in January, The Sweet Tooth coffee house and bakery located in the education center here has offered patrons a variety of treats and a surplus of caffeine.

Open Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., The Sweet Tooth offers Team XL another option for fueling their day.

"It is a lot of fun opening up on base and hearing what people have to say," said Candace Hough, The Sweet Tooth assistant manager. "The people of Laughlin are friendly and excited that we are here at the library building."

The Sweet Tooth offers customers a variety of specialty drinks, both iced and hot, and a number of deli sandwiches and soups.

Looking to the future, the coffee shop hopes to soon offer shakes, ice cream and an expanded bakery along with the ability to deliver to offices on base.

"It is a treat to serve those who serve us," Hough said.
