    Ryan Anderson, 47th Maintenance Directorate sheet metal technician, was chosen by wing leadership to be the “XLer” of the week, for the week of May 9, 2018, at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. The “XLer” award, presented by Col. Charlie Velino, 47th Flying Training Wing commander, is given to those who consistently make outstanding contributions to their unit and the Laughlin mission.

  • Almost Showtime: Fiesta of Flight

    Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, is set to host multiple aerial performances, concessionaires, static displays and more at the ‘Fiesta of Flight’ Open House and Air Show May 12, 2018. Being Laughlin’s first show in nearly a decade, the base spent more than two years of planning with the continuous support from the community. The ‘Fiesta of Flight’ is prepared to house over 35 aircraft, including 16 performances.
