Mechanics from the 47th Maintenance Directorate keep all 66 T-38 Talon aircraft at Laughlin operational to support Laughlin's mission of producing the world's best pilots.

The maintainers highlighted in the photos are performing various tasks required to keep the T-38s ready to fly.

With the certifications that maintainers receive here at Laughlin, they are able to troubleshoot and fix the majority of the problems they encounter. Since the maintainers have the ability to troubleshoot the engines, most of the work on the T-38 engines is done here at Laughlin.
