LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Capt. Ben Sims, 85th Flying Training Squadron instructor pilot, was presented the XLer of the week award at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, Sept. 10, 2012. Sims was awarded the Xler Award for his quick actions that saved the life of a driver injured in a vehicle crash Oct. 2.
