Energize Café opens at Losano Fitness Center Published June 2, 2011 By Jordan Powell 47th Flying Training Wing public affairs LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The coffee shop located inside Laughlin's Losano Fitness Center recently reopened under new management and will be hosting a grand opening June 2. The former coffee shop, Coffee Now, has been replaced by Energize Café, which is owned and operated by Zeitgeist Wellness Group, a company based in San Antonio. The grand opening will take place at 8 a.m. and will feature cake and a ribbon-cutting ceremony that will include Col. Angela Caldwell, 47th Mission Support Group commander, as well as Artemese Cunningham and Rosalind Gonzalez, both of Zeitgeist. The new coffee shop will also be offering free samples of smoothies in a variety of flavors and free sandwiches, danishes and fruit samples will be available. The free samples will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until the products run out. Loyalty cards that offer a buy-nine-get-the-tenth-free promotion will also be given out. "Come join our celebration for a refreshing treat that will recharge your mind, body, and soul!" said Breanne Raisner, café manager. In addition to a variety of coffee bean products, the coffee shop offers several nutritious items including juices, fruit, smoothies and sugar free, soy and whey protein drinks. Sandwiches, bagels, muffins, cookies, tea and sodas are also available and the café features free Wi-Fi.
