LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 47th Student Squadron, Awaiting pilot training

Why he XLed: Zarmbinski organized chapel facility use for 15 functions by synchronizing 80 hours of requests with 10 base agencies with zero scheduling conflicts. He led a $30,000 video teleconference call acquisition through the Defense Reutilization Management Office saving 50 percent of the chapel's appropriated funds budget. He also volunteered 15 hours for Base Airman Against Drunk Driving to ensure safe travel for Airmen.
