Why they Xled: They are graduation experts who led a historic visual information consolidation effort. They authored eight continuity binders that save more than 60 man hours every graduation week. They provided audio for the Wing Commander and Operations Group Commander at retreat and the Border Butter Milk. Their products showcased the 47th Flying Training Wing to more than 200 base visitors and students. Their coordination with five base agencies in preparation for the graduation ceremony, totaled more than 140 man hours. The man hours dedicated resulted in flawless execution with four national anthems played. The two Captains worked with distinguish visitors from two other countries behind the scenes to help foster excellent foreign student pilot relations. They also streamlined the audio visual procedures at undergraduate pilot training class 13-02's banquet. The banquet supported 250 visitors and distinguished visitors. It was a perfect send off for the new graduates.

Laughlin Xler - Capt. Justin Hrynyk

Job title and Unit: 47th Student Training Squadron, grad flight commander and graduation officer

Hometown: Cabot, Ark.

Family: Tabitha (wife), Wyatt (son), and a baby on the way

Time at Laughlin: Three years, two months

Time in Military: Eight years, six months

Greatest accomplishment: Teaching my little boy how to "Call the Hogs!" while watching Razorback Football; and marrying my girlfriend who I met while being a student pilot here at Laughlin AFB attempting to earn my wings from the United States Air Force

Hobbies: Flying, skiing, SCUBA diving and skeet shooting

Bad habit: Calling out other people's bad habits.

Favorite Movies: Memphis Belle, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Stop! or My Mom Will Shoot

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: My Father, the late Captain Tom Hrynyk. He passed away when I was young, three and half years old. I would like to ask a few questions about what the Air Force was like back in his day.

Laughlin Xler - Capt. Stephen Wiley

Job title and unit: 47th Student Training Squadron, class commander

Hometown: Reno, Nev.

Family: Alissa (wife) and Aaralyn (daughter)

Time at Laughlin: One year, six months

Time in military/civil service: Seven years, six months

Greatest accomplishment: It's a tie between flying tankers over Afghanistan fueling the fight and watching the progress as we train the students here at Laughlin. We train them to be ready to go out and make waves on the world stage as the world's best pilots. Being able to have a hand in their training, and especially their professional growth, is a one of a kind opportunity that we have here. Seeing them graduate every three weeks, and knowing that they are ready for the future, to me that counts as one of my top accomplishments.

Hobbies: Live light and sound system engineering and operation for church and local events, news junkie, reading, photography and skiing

Bad habit: Trying to curb my tendency to bite my nails when I am worried about things

Favorite movies: Courageous, Facing the Giants, Iron man, Captain America, Thor, Avengers, The Prestige and Inception

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: Alissa, my wonderful wife of seven years. With the busy training schedules, flight commander duties, church and family obligations; the opportunity to get more time alone would be very meaningful.
