Laughlin XLer - Capt. Jennifer Moore, 47th Student Squadron

Job title and unit: 47th Student Squadron transition flight commander

Why she XLed: She led in the planning and drafting of the golf cart training plan and coordinated with the 47th Operations Support Squadron to meet Air Force Instructional requirements for the project. The plan saves Laughlin more than $120,000. She was also the chief architect for the U.S. Air force Academy mass in-processing operation of more than 130 Lieutenants arriving at Laughlin. She coordinated with 15 base agencies to save 1,300 man hours in the out-processing of more than 70 Lieutenants and has mentored more than 40 young women in association with the Girl Scouts.

Bad Habit: Staying up at night reading or watching TV to all hours of the night

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: My grandfather who passed away on my fourth birthday. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War II and I believe he is where I get my drive, determination and stubbornness from. I would like to thank him and I hope that I have made him proud!
