Laughlin XLer - Laughlin's CS ADX Migration Team

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Laughlin's 47th Communications Squadron Active Directory and Exchange Migration Team were awarded this week's XLer for spearheading Laughlin's support for the $440,000 ADX project by migrating 1,800 computers and 2,600 users to the Air Force's vision of one Air Force, one network. The team helped coordinate remote user and network resource management capabilities to reduce manpower requirements while enabling world-wide tech support. They also standardized cyber operations and streamlined network management which helped to improve the Air Force's global information grid security and efficiency.
