Why he XLed: Valdez analyzed 10 housing database trends and reached strict compliance in tight higher headquarters for the annual site visit with 100 percent validation. He conducted oversight inspections for over 300 changes of maintenance and over 3,000 work orders that saved more than $2,000. He brought Hunt Housing occupancy to 97 percent, beating the AETC standard of 95 percent. He validated eight checklists that ensured the best customer service statistics in AETC by performance incentive plan statistics. Lastly, Valdez helped with the set-up and tear-down of four Hunt Housing events that helped to boost troop morale.
