Why she XLed: Falkner negotiated the bowling center expansion initiative that reduced contract costs by 30 percent, which helped recover $86,000 in the 2015 non appropriated funds budget. She managed a $1.6 million joint sealant project that covered 120,000 square feet of runway repair, helping keep 54,000 sorties flying per year. She also oversaw a $4.7 million centralized aircraft support system contract and headed partnering meetings for 15 personnel that recouped $20,000 of government credit. Falkner utilized a $2 million warrant authority during the commanding officers absence, and managed contractual actions for seven people that secured a $3.7 million base project. Lastly she governed a $1.5 million base sewer renovation for 25 buildings that ensured safe water for 3,000 base personnel.
