Job title and unit: 86th Flying Training Squadron, squadron programmer

Why he XLed: Davis perfectly executed the 86th Flying Training Squadron's fiscal 2014 flying hour program close-out by auditing 23,000 hours and 10,000 sorties. He managed four flight-schedulers, executed 1,000 missions and more than 3,000 flight hours for 200 instructor and student pilots. His job performance led to the squadron's two-day gain on its training timeline. He also built the 86 FTS's fiscal 2015 flying hour program sortie and hour tracker, forecasted projected flying training requirements for 330 students and instructor pilots and prepared the squadron for a $32 million flying hour program.
