Why he XLed: He coordinated with six base agencies to host the medical staff from the Val Verde Regional Medical Center and the 47th Medical Group. By doing so, he helped boost the relationship between the base and Del Rio. He was handpicked by the 47th MDG commander and the 47th Operations Group commander, because of his professionalism and knowledge, to be the point of contact for the distinguished visitor flight line tour. He was also able to highlight team XL's professional flying mission by scheduling 11 visitors and instructing them on the T-6 simulators. He was also vital to on-time T-6 graduations by scheduling 1,200 flights. He was also in the squadron's top 10 percent of squadron flight hours.
