Laughlin airman wins Texas AFA Airman of the Year award

A Laughlin airman was awarded the Air Force Association of Texas Airman of the Year award for 2012 in a ceremony held Aug. 27 at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas.

Senior Airman Evens Perjuste, 47th Civil Engineer Squadron, is a Haitian immigrant who became an American citizen in 2011 and was selected for the award due to his unparalleled dedication to service in and out of uniform.
