Job title and unit: 47th Civil Engineer Squadron programmer

Why she XLed: She refined 18 projects worth $23.3 million and managed 240 projects for integrated priority lists. She assisted in repairs to damaged 50-year-old power lines and revamped plans for new lateral drift and special disorientation trainers in aerospace physiology. She also generated nine funding requests to relieve a short-handed resource advisor section. She is a Department of Defense victim advocate who provided 168 hours of critical victim support and assisted with 47th Flying Training Wing Sexual Assault Victim Response briefs.

Hometown: Eddy, Texas

Family: Husband, Wayne Morgan; daughter, Elizabeth; sons, Donald and David.

Time at Laughlin: Three years

Time in military/civil service: Twenty-eight years/three years

Greatest accomplishment: I think my greatest accomplishment is my wonderful family. I am very proud of my time in the Air Force but my family tops it all. My children had to learn to share their mom with her troops and understand when I couldn't be there because I had to support the Air Force and this great country. They are strong, independent, smart young adults who I am very proud to call mine. My husband stood beside me, helping to raise my children and keep me grounded. I couldn't do what I do without his support and love.

Hobbies: Riding and training horses, reading and crocheting.

Bad habit: I'm not as patient and accepting as I should be.

Favorite movies: I like heart-jerkers and action movies.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: I would like to spend time with my Dad again and ask him all the questions that I have built up since he passed away in 2002. I don't think we truly appreciate the people in our lives until they are no longer there.
