Laughlin XLer: Airman 1st Class Kristin Malig, 47th MDOS

Job title and unit: 47th Medical Operation Squadron Aerospace and Operational Physiology technician

Why she XLed: She scheduled 194 aerospace and operational physiology classes, instructing more than 226 hours. She also provided 24-hour on call for preventative care for nausea and vomiting for two student pilots, returning the members to their flights. She is an honor guard member who participated in four honor guard events, including one funeral, honoring a fallen hero. She also was the master of ceremonies during a promotion ceremony. She recruited 40 volunteers for theAir Force Sergeants Association's highway clean-up and was later coined by the AFSA president.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: My grandfather from my father's side because I never got the chance to meet him before he passed away and he just seemed like a really great person.
