LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Unit and job title: 47th Flying Training Wing Command Post emergency action Controller

Why he XLed: Second Lt. Alexander LeBlanc assisted command post with self-assessment by identifying and eliminating five checklist discrepancies. He compiled aircraft incident data and submitted four critical information reports and briefed wing leadership. He worked four hours with the church to prepare 2,800 pre-made meals for the less fortunate. As an Air Force Ball committee member he gathered items for the 'historic themed' event and prepared a video monologue. Lastly, LeBlanc educated seven controllers on operational report procedures; thus guaranteeing protocols with zero errors.
